With the 2024 Sustainability Report, Meccanostampi confirms and relaunches this commitment, transparently recounting the results achieved and the actions implemented in the environmental, social and governance spheres.

A natural evolution of the first report
In 2023 the company published its first Sustainability Report, drawing a clear line for the future. The 2024 report represents an important step forward: it increases the amount of data analyzed, consolidates some goals, and introduces new guidelines for truly responsible industrial growth.
To make our commitment concrete and measurable, Meccanostampi has established an internal Sustainability Committee, composed of cross-functional figures, to guide, monitor and coordinate all environmental, social and organizational initiatives.
Reduce environmental impact, generate value
Environmental protection remains one of the pillars of Meccanostampi’s ESG approach: we refer to the corporate commitments described in:
- Principle 7, “Clean and Accessible Energy”: The company is committed to using renewable energy sources and improving the energy efficiency of its operations.
- Principle 13, “Acting for the Climate”: We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our activities while combating climate change.
During 2024, the company therefore has:
- Performed annual Carbon Footprint analysis, a tool for calculating the impact of business activities in terms of CO₂ emissions and identifying areas for action;
- Invested in optimizing energy consumption, making internal plants and processes more efficient, and increasing the use of energy from renewable sources;
- Initiated structural interventions in its plants with a view to energy efficiency and operational sustainability.
These actions are certified by recognized standards such as ISO 14001 and by the Synergy ESG Rating, prepared according to the GRI and SDG guidelines of the United Nations.
Value to people, at the heart of the strategy
The social dimension is at the heart of the Meccanostampi model. The company promotes a safe, inclusive work environment that pays attention to people’s well-being. The 2024 budget highlights:
- Continuing education programs dedicated to both technical development and personal growth;
- Obtaining and maintaining Family Audit certification, which attests to a commitment to work-life balance and social responsibility;
- A robust prevention and safety system, managed according to ISO 45001 certification, ensuring high standards for occupational health and safety;
- Active listening to people, through internal business climate survey initiatives and shared improvement paths.

Being sustainable also means governing with rigor and transparency. The ESG 2024 report clearly presents Meccanostampi’s management actions, including:
- Enterprise risk mapping to ensure prevention and robustness even in unstable environments;
- Regulatory compliance and a willingness to anticipate new European standards on sustainability reporting (CSRD);
- The use of measurable indicators that can evaluate the effectiveness of strategic choices;
