1965-2025. Sixty years ago, in Limana, Ludovico Trevisson started a workshop dedicated to the construction of precision molds. Today, Meccanostampi is an internationally recognized entity in mold design and construction and technopolymer molding, with an integrated supply chain that combines co-design, engineering, production and post-molding services.
The 60th anniversary was the occasion for an open day reserved for employees and their families: more than 700 participants accompanied in small groups to discover production processes, new plants and the “way of working” that characterizes the company. A simple gesture with a strong meaning: putting people at the center.
A story of vision, continuity and growth
Over the years, our company has moved from mold making alone to theintegration of injection molding and the widespread adoption of automation and digitalization. This evolutionary continuity has consolidated an industrial model that combines technical rigor and listening to the customer, translating needs into customized solutions.
Today Meccanostampi operates with 4 plants, more than 140 presses, 25,000 m² covered and about 250 employees committed every day to transforming ideas into reliable products. In 2024, turnover reached about 42 million euros, with an export share of 42%: numbers that photograph a solid structure and a constantly strengthening international positioning.
People at the center: identity, culture, well-being
Growth is not just about machines and equipment: it is above all human capital. Meccanostampi promotes a work environment based on trust, safety and skill development, with training courses and a concrete focus on work-life balance, recognized by Family Audit certification.
Good feedback from RLSs (Workers’ Safety Representatives) during audits testifies to a shared culture of prevention and a participatory corporate climate.
Innovation that matters: automation, 3D printing, data
Innovating, for Meccanostampi, means improving quality and efficiency by reducing variability and waste. For this reason, the company has accelerated in recent years:
- The gradual replacement of the machine fleet with higher performance solutions (including the inclusion of electric presses),
- The implementation of robotic islands and in-line quality control systems on 100 percent of production.
- the extension of interconnected systems for real-time production monitoring and planning and predictive maintenance, in a context where reading and using data becomes a competitive advantage.
This is the innovation that industry is interested in: doing better, with less, bringing repeatable, traceable and safe solutions into production.
Sustainability as a method: investments, facilities, standards
Sustainability is an integral part of Meccanostampi’s way of operating. Maintenance audits have confirmed ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (health and safety), recognizing availability and updating of documentation, competence, cooperation and transparency of the staff involved, and dedicated investments (from the progressive replacement of machines to theinstallation of photovoltaics). At the ESG level, the company has achieved an “A” Synesgy rating (CRIF Ratings methodology), consistent with international reporting standards. It has also been publishing its Sustainability Report for the past 2 years.
Choosing this trajectory means combining environment, people and competitiveness: reducing impact, increasing efficiency, growing responsibly.
A company open to the territory
Meccanostampi maintains strong ties with its community: projects with schools, orientation meetings, sharing moments with families and partners. The factory opens up and becomes a place of industrial culture, helping to attract talent and strengthen the local skills chain. It is a pact that unites enterprise and territory, generating mutual value.
Strategy and the future: selective investment, organizational growth, international development
“Innovation is an integral part of our DNA. Not only because it strengthens efficiency and competitiveness, but because it is a concrete tool for reducing environmental impact.”
With this in mind, Meccanostampi is looking ahead with a five-year Strategic Plan that includes targeted investments, organizational growth and further international consolidation. Among the projects under evaluation is a new production hub in Limana, confirming the link with the local area. On the horizon, exploration of enabling technologies-fromartificial intelligence to new prototyping and control tools-to make processes and decisions even faster, more informed and flexible.
Sixty years, one course
Sixty years of Meccanostampi tells a consistent story: listening to customers, valuing people, investing in plants and skills, measuring itself against international standards and global markets without losing its identity. This is how the company continues to shape tailor-made solutions for its partners, combining quality, reliability and sustainability.
Where ideas take shape is not just a claim: it is the summary of a method. And it is the direction that will continue to guide us into the future.
