2025 at Meccanostampi: a year of roots, innovation and people

  • Press

The year 2025, for Meccanostampi, was first and foremost the 60th anniversary year.

Sixty years ago, a workshop dedicated to mold making was born in Limana; today that same reality is an international company that integrates co-design, engineering, mold making, stamping and post-production services.

Our open day dedicated to employees and families made this history visible: lines in operation, new plants, department tours, but most importantly time shared with the people who shape customer projects every day.

While we celebrated this milestone, 2025 was also a year of concrete work on three directions that, when added together, define who we are: industrial method, technological innovation, and attention to people and territory.

Method, quality and sustainability: the structure that holds it all together

Telling a year of Meccanostampi means starting with the way we work. In 2025, we described in depth our integrated supply chain, from the first confrontation with the customer to the finished part, through telling the story of the journey from design to finished product.

Here we see how co-design, feasibility analysis, in-house mold design and construction, injection molding, and quality control are not separate “pieces” but a single path, which in from molds to molding is directly related to the needs of the most demanding markets.

On this basis rests thesystem of certifications, which is never just formal.
Throughout the year we delved into the role of IATF 16949 certification as a daily guarantee for the automotive world and recounted how the renewal of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications confirms a model made up of safety, prevention and environmental protection.

This is complemented by our Sustainability Report 2024, which makes the ESG journey measurable: carbon footprint, rating, investment on facilities, focus on people, transparent governance.

Method and sustainability together explain why we continue to invest in processes, facilities and data: not to add complexity, but to build a solid structure that makes the promises made to customers reliable.

Automation, data and trade shows: innovation entering the plant

The year 2025 was also a year in which we opened the door to the departments, showing how innovation comes to the presses and molds in a real way.

With the interview dedicated to automation and molding, we gave a voice to those who design and manage robotic islands, 3D printing gripper hands, and control systems integrated into the cycle. There we get a good look at how automation is not only productivity, but also repeatability, traceability, safety, and better use of people’s skills.

Looking outward, on the other hand, has been through fairs and moments of discussion.

At Smart Plastics 2025 we crossed advanced materials, new applications and the theme of sustainability as a driver of innovation; at Coiltech Deutschland 2025 we immersed ourselves in the world of electric motors and electromobility, bringing our know-how in technical plastics to a rapidly changing environment.

This continuous updating also allows us to explore new application areas, as recounted in the article on trends and opportunities in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, where requirements such as cleanliness, control, and repeatability approach those we have long handled in automotive and electronics.

People, welfare and territory: what makes sense of numbers

Behind presses, molds and data are always people.

In 2025 we have chosen to tell this side of our identity more explicitly. Our corporate welfare and Family Audit is not just a set of measures, but a way of thinking about the time, energy, and needs of those who work with us: flexibility, family support, cross-training, organized listening.

The same gaze widens to the territory with the initiatives told by events and people: projects with schools, sports activities, solidarity events, open days. The factory, on these occasions, becomes an open place: of orientation, of exchange, of relationship with the community.

One year preparing for the next

Looking back, we recognize a single thread: the integrated supply chain from design to product, the certified quality and trust built every day, the evolution of molding and automation, the reading of new trends, and the central role of welfare and territory.

The 60th anniversary was not a celebratory interlude-it was a way to take stock of what we have become and where we want to go.

The year 2026 will start from here, with the same basic idea: listening to customers, valuing people, investing in plants, processes and skills to turn each new project into a reliable, sustainable solution consistent with our history.
