That initial vision gave rise to Meccanostampi, which today is an industrial company capable of supporting customers throughout the entire development process: from co-design to industrialization, from mold construction to stamping, all the way through to assembly and quality control. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But a company\u2019s history isn\u2019t measured solely in years, departments, technologies, or square meters. It\u2019s also measured by the way skills are developed, passed on, and become a shared culture. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We spoke with <strong>Laura Trevisson, CEO of Meccanostampi<\/strong> and <strong>newly elected<\/strong> <strong>President of the Metalworking Industries Section<\/strong> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.confindustria.bl.it\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.confindustria.bl.it\/\">Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti<\/a>, to discuss the philosophy that guides the company today: a vision developed over time, based on the ability to tackle complex problems, learn continuously, and transform experience into value for customers, employees, and the local community.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When you tell people who don&#8217;t know about Meccanostampi about the company, where do you start?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I always start with our <em>history<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meccanostampi was founded in <strong>1965<\/strong> thanks to the vision of my father, <strong>Ludovico<\/strong> <strong>Trevisson<\/strong>. Since then, the company has grown, spanning different markets, technologies, and generations, while maintaining a characteristic that I consider essential: the determination to tackle complex technical challenges and to continuously improve. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, we design and manufacture plastic molds and support our customers throughout the entire industrialization process: from <strong>co-design<\/strong> to <strong>molding<\/strong>, through <strong>assembly<\/strong> and <strong>quality<\/strong> <strong>control<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What strikes me, when I look back at our history, is that many of the skills we now consider distinctive did not arise from a single insight or an extraordinary investment. They are the result of thousands of daily choices made over the years. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s why I believe organizations become what they do repeatedly. If you invest in quality for years, <strong>you develop quality<\/strong>. If you tackle complex problems for years, <strong>you develop expertise<\/strong>. If you seek new solutions for years, <strong>you develop innovation<\/strong>. If you value people for years, you develop a <strong>culture capable of growing and adapting to change.<\/strong>    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meccanostampi is the result of this journey: a combination of technical expertise, a capacity for learning, a spirit of continuous improvement, and a commitment to evolving without losing sight of the values that have brought us this far.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is the thread that connects the company&#8217;s origins to the present?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think it&#8217;s the <strong>desire to tackle complex challenges<\/strong> without settling for the <em>easiest<\/em> <em>solution<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My father built this company on a passion for technology, a commitment to quality, and the ability to solve problems that others considered impossible. That spirit is still alive today. The difference is that today we want these capabilities to be more than just the domain of key individuals\u2014we want them to become part of the organization\u2019s DNA.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is why we are investing in processes, skills, collaboration, and distributed leadership. We want to build an organization in which the ability to learn, take responsibility, and adapt to change does not depend on individuals, but is part of the way we work. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ultimately, the most important evolution we are experiencing is precisely this: transforming the knowledge accumulated over more than <strong>sixty years of history into a shared culture<\/strong> capable of generating value for future generations as well.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>You often say that Meccanostampi isn&#8217;t just a mold manufacturer. What does that mean, exactly? <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It means that we don&#8217;t want to be remembered just for what we produce, but for the <em>value<\/em> we help create.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A mold is important, but what really matters is helping the customer achieve the result they\u2019ve set out to achieve. When a customer comes to us, they often bring a technical challenge, a production issue, or a goal for improvement. It is precisely in these moments that <strong>we feel we can make a difference<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recent years, we have been working to further strengthen this capability. We do not want to limit ourselves to simply responding to a specific technical request, but rather to understand the industrial context in which that request arises. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Often, the visible problem does not correspond to its actual cause. That is why we are increasingly investing in our ability to analyze processes, identify the root causes of issues, and support our clients every step of the way, helping to build<strong> more effective, robust, and sustainable solutions<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In other words, we don&#8217;t just want to provide a product. We want to help our customers solve complex problems and create <em>value throughout the entire process<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What does it mean for Meccanostampi to work closely with its customers?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It means going beyond the traditional relationship between client and supplier to become a true <strong>industrial partner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Industrial products and processes are becoming increasingly complex. Decisions made in the early stages of a project can significantly affect the costs, quality, development time, sustainability, and reliability of the final product. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is why we believe that value is created when different areas of expertise work together in an integrated manner and exchange ideas from the very early stages of the project.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our role is not merely to build a mold or manufacture a component that meets the specified requirements. It is to offer our expertise in design, materials, molding processes, and industrialization to help inform the decisions that determine the product\u2019s success. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this sense, an industrial partnership <em>means sharing expertise, goals, and responsibilities,<\/em> with a shared commitment to building the most effective and robust solution possible.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is also the philosophy underlying the approach we are developing through <strong>Process Engineering<\/strong>. We want to become increasingly capable of viewing the process as a whole, identifying the root causes of critical issues, and supporting our customers in optimizing performance, quality, and production efficiency. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because true value comes from the ability to work together <em>to achieve lasting results<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is innovation more a matter of technology or method?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Innovation is a <em>cultural<\/em> <em>choice<\/em> even before it is a technological one.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Machines are purchased. Software is installed. People and organizations, on the other hand, have to learn. And learning takes<strong> time, humility, and perseverance<\/strong>.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s why I believe that<a href=\"https:\/\/www.meccanostampi.it\/en\/product-development-when-design-and-process-grow-together\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.meccanostampi.it\/sviluppo-prodotto-quando-progettazione-e-processo-crescono-insieme\/\"> innovation means <\/a>, above all, creating an environment where it&#8217;s normal to ask questions, experiment, share ideas, and challenge one&#8217;s own habits.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Innovation does not stem from a single investment or from a technology introduced into a company. It stems from the ability to create an organization that learns, that examines processes with a critical eye, and that constantly seeks new ways to generate value. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When curiosity, collaboration, and learning become part of the corporate culture, innovation ceases to be a project and becomes a <em>way of working<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What role do people play in Meccanostampi&#8217;s growth?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>People<\/strong> are the heart of the company.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technology helps us do our jobs better, but it\u2019s people who give meaning to what we do. One of the greatest sources of satisfaction for me is seeing <em>colleagues grow professionally<\/em>, take on new responsibilities, and discover abilities they may not have even known they had. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I firmly believe that every person has potential to realize. After all, part of an organization\u2019s role is to create the conditions that allow that potential to emerge. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>As people grow, so does the company.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where does the real challenge of sustainability lie in your industry?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meccanostampi.it\/en\/sustainability\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.meccanostampi.it\/sostenibilita\/\">sustainability starts with respect<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Respect for resources, the environment, people\u2019s work, and future generations. In the factory, this means <strong>reducing<\/strong> <strong>waste<\/strong>, continuously improving processes, <strong>designing<\/strong> <strong>with<\/strong> <strong>greater<\/strong> <strong>awareness<\/strong>, and using <strong>energy<\/strong> <strong>and materials<\/strong> efficiently. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But it also means building an organization that can stand the test of time.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A company is truly sustainable when it creates value for its customers, its employees, and the community where it operates.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Looking ahead, what does Meccanostampi envision for the coming years?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I envision a company that continues to grow without losing its soul.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A company capable of innovating without losing sight of its roots. A place where people are eager to build the future together. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would like Meccanostampi to be recognized not only for its technical expertise, but also for its ability to <strong>understand<\/strong> <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>complexity<\/strong> of industrial processes and turn that understanding into <strong>value<\/strong> <strong>for its<\/strong> <strong>customers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would like us to be increasingly seen as an industrial partner capable of supporting our customers through the most critical phases of product development and industrialization, by providing expertise, a structured approach, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I think about the future, I don&#8217;t just envision higher revenue or more technology.
